Technical specifications

General presentation

The characteristics of the GeoDelft centrifuge can be resumed in few words. The GeoDelft centrifuge belongs to the beam type with a loading capacity of 16.5 MN. It has one arm of 6 m in radius, which is extended by a container of 2 cubic meters. The tilt angle of the container can be halted in flight. In the centrifuge room a possibility is made to create a light vacuum environment.
