This is an preliminary page, it is under construction. This page and the following subpages of 'Experiments' will contain information about the tests that have been performed and are being performed in the geotechnical centrifuge of GeoDelft. Data consist of measured values or video images. It is the intention of the centrifuge group to provide nearly real time data as obtained in the tests. The main method for the dissemination of the information is streaming video: Geolive.
On the Geolive page the user can see live video of an experiment that is being performed. Live images can be seen during an experiment only. Next to the video there are graphical presentations of trensducers in the actual test. During the test these presentations will be automatically updated, every 30 s. Furthermore the operator of the test will provide comments on what is done or can be seen.
The next Geolive event was scheduled for Wednesday Juli 20th 2005. The topic is the influence of anchor chains on an embankment. The Geolive page is currently no longer active.
The goal of this part of the website is to provide an extensive overview of the recent tests that have been performed in our geotechnical centrifuge.
